MOST IMPORTANT NUMERICALS OF ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS FOR CLASS 12 SCIENCE.

Hi I am Subash Bhattarai,admin of this blog and student of science.Now in this post I am gonna give you some important physics questions generally numerical problems of electricity topic.The problems i have given below are of challenging or miscellaneous type.But It doesnt mean that you can not solve them.Some are easier also.Try solving these problems so that you can enhance your mind and increase problem solving capacity.
Before reaching to the problems,i suggest you to see HOW TO SOLVE PHYSICS NUMERICAL PROBLEMS EASILY?

The numerical problems are:-

A battery of e.m.f. 4 v and internal resistance 2 Ohm is joined to a resistor of 8 Ohm.Calculate the terminal p.d. =>Ans:[3.2v,1 ohm]

  1. A battery of emf 24v having internal resistance r is connected to a circuit having two parallel resistors of 3 ohm and 6 ohm in series with 8 ohm resistor.If The current flowing in the 3 ohm resistor is 0.8A,then calculate i)the current through 6 ohm resistor,ii) r and iii)terminal p.d of the battery. =>ans:[0.4A,10 ohm,12v]
  2. A moving coil galvanometer has resistance of 25 ohm and indicates full deflection when a current of 4 mA flows through it.How could this meter be converted to miliammeter having full scale deflection for a current of 50mA? =>ans:parallel 2.17 ohm.
  3. A resistor of 1000 ohm and one of 2000 ohm are placed in series with a 100 v mains supply.What will be the reading on a voltmeter of internal resistance 2000 ohm when place across i)1000 ohm,ii)2000 ohm resistance ? =>[25v,50v]
  4. Two resistors of 1200 ohm and 800 ohm are connected in series with a battery of e.m.f. 24 v and negligible internal resistance.What is the p.d across each resistor? If a voltmeter of resistance 600 ohm is now connected firstly across the 1200 ohm resistor and then across 800 ohm resistor,find the p.d recorded by voltmeter in each case. =>ans[14.4v,9.6v,8v,5.3v]
  5. A voltmeter having resistance of 1800 ohm is used to measure the p.d across 200 ohm resistor connected to the terminals of d.c power supply of e.m.f.50v and internal resistance 20 ohm.Determine the percentage change in p.d.across 200 ohm resistor as a result of connecting voltmeter across it.=>ans:(-1%)

Here in above problems i have provided you the answers which are surely correct and i have done these problems to recheck also.
If you have any problem about solving these problems,leave your comment below.
