Why A.C. Is More Dangerous Than D.C.?

Alternating current a.c. Is an induced current whose magnitude and direction changes periodically with time and has sine function in time-magnitude graph.
But in case of direct current, magnitude and direction of current remains same throughout the time.
Due to the changing magnitude of ac,the peak value can not be obtained.Numerically the peak value of ac is given by,
I(peak)=root2 times I(rms)

Hence for 220v dc and ac,peak value of dc is always 220v but for ac,peak value will be 220*root2=311.12v.
Thus ac current is more dangerous than dc.
